BEARPAW FOOTWEAR TAKES ON 3PL GLOBAL TO HANDLE
WAREHOUSING AND LOGISTICS
Citrus Heights, CA (August 20, 2012) –
BEARPAW Footwear, a worldwide leader in lifestyle
footwear, has announced its partnership with
3PL Global, LLC, a California based third party
logistics company. BEARPAW promises that the partnership will offer its customers more
efficient competences, including better shipping and receiving abilities, open stock capabilities
and a labor force with extensive footwear experience.
According to Stan Jozwiak, COO of 3PL Global, the facility offers customizable shipping and
handling capabilities to fit the needs of its retail partners, executing in the most timely and
accurate manner. He adds, “3PL Global offers the advantage of a footwear-specific workforce
that understands BEARPAW’s industrial needs by providing an knowledgeable staff devoted to
ensuring that BEARPAW’s operations are executed correctly and proficiently.”
The Carson facility is located near the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles, which, says
BEARPAW CEO Tom Romeo, “was an important element of our decision to bring on 3PL and
house our products in their Carson facility.” He adds, “3PL’s warehouse was carefully selected
in preparation for our projected growth.” The facility, spanning 300,000 sq. ft., features tall
ceilings, increased truck wells and is a LEED’s Silver certified “Green” facility.
Romeo continues: after seeing the level at which 3PL operates, handling retail distribution for
Wal-Mart, Target, JCP, Toys R Us, K-mart, Sears, Kohl’s and Macy’s, while executing direct to
store distribution for Michaels, Walgreens and CVS, we knew they could offer invaluable
insight and implement better practices for our brand.
BEARPAW will ship from 3PL Global’s Carson facility effective today.
