Bearpaw Steps South, Grace Carter's Bad Weather Style

Bearpaw
Headquartered near Sacramento, Calif. the Bearpaw brand announced it would base its shipping in Southern California.
Last month it partnered with logistics company 3PL Global, LLC to handle Bearpaw’s shipping at 3PL Global’s warehouse in Carson, Calif. “3PL’s warehouse was careful selected in preparation for our projected growth, “said Bearpaw CEO Tom Romeo. The facility spans 300,000-square-feet and is a LEED Silver certified building.
In other footwear news, another brand, Grace Carter is counting on wind, sleet and snow to mess with your shoes. The Salt Lake City-based co-founders of Grace Carter, Dennis and Deborah Haslam, worked with San Francisco –based M. Coleman Horn to develop something like a stretch Gore-Tex material that is weather proof and can show stylish designs in the most inclement of weather. Think of it as the most stylish galosh produced Deborah Haslam said. It is sold at Nordstrom and Grace Carter will debuting a men’s line of the shoe coverings, and perhaps next year, raincoats.
